Food and Beverage Manager

As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will lead the Bar and Cafe team on a day to day basis as well as working with the General Manager/ Assistant General Manager in developing longer term strategies to improve operations, customer experience and financial results. RSA, RSG and RP Badge essential.

Your operational departments will include the Bistro/Cafe, Bar and Rivers Edge Function Room.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for the daily operations across our venue. You will succeed at this through working hands-on in each outlet to ensure you fully understand the operational requirements, can identify daily opportunities for improvement and lead by example in service quality and process.

  • Daily review & adaption of rosters to reflect business levels

  • Providing very hands-on leadership and mentoring of the hospitality team, front and back of house, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

  • Collaborate with the department heads and marketing teams to develop a calendar of events, that drives customer visitation and satisfaction

  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably within the club/pub sector

  • Experience in regional hospitality/tourism operations is desirable

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating teams.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

  • A business mindset with the ability to analyse results, identify opportunities, and drive measurable improvements.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays – this is a hands-on role with the expectation to be in and around during its busiest services.
